Youth involved in stone pelting handed over to respectables after counselling in Shopian | KNO

A group of youth who were involved in stone pelting incidents were handed over to the respectables after counselling in South Kashmir’s Shopian District today.

A team of officers from Shopian Police, 3 RR and 14 Bn CRPF conducted the counselling of a group of youth from Village Reban, Zainpora who were involved in stone pelting incidents. The officers also interacted with the respectables of the locality who assured them of peaceful and cooperative environment in the area. It was reiterated by respectables that they would not allow misuse of loudspeakers in mosques by miscreants for playing taranas and anti national propaganda.

The officers assured the gathering that forces will continue to work for peace and tranquillity in the district. After the counselling and interaction the youth were handed over to respectables of the locality.
